BT Media Productions is a media production company based in Macon, GA, specializing in digital video production. We use the state of the art Sony HVR-V1U HD video camera and the Final Cut Studio editing suite on all of our productions.
We can produce your commercial, training video, campaign ad, music video, or any other video production from concept to completion. If you need someone to set up or run your Tricaster Studio, we’re experienced with it. Need a Spanish video made? No problem. Owner, Brandon Thompson, has studied Spanish for nearly a decade and speaks and writes fluently. Multi-cam setups are also available, including with the Canon 550D DSLR camera, for that ultra filmic look!
BT Media Productions is owned by Brandon Thompson… but you can call him “BT” if you’d like! Brandon is an alumnus from the Bachelor of Science program in Communications & Information Technology, Class of 2009, at Macon State College in Macon, GA, where he earned the honors of Magna Cum Laude and President’s List Scholar. He has worked in many aspects of digital media, specializing in digital video production.
As a media professional, Brandon is also experienced in streaming video, graphic design, broadcast journalism, on-air talent, and designing websites using modern CMS tools like Joomla and WordPress. Brandon speaks and writes Spanish fluently and has extensive travel experience, including overseas.
Before graduating and starting his current professional ventures, Brandon’s college work experience included running the college television station at Macon State, broadcasting live athletic events over the Internet, and interning at both 13 WMAZ and Bright Blue Sky Productions.
In 2007, Brandon was one of only three students to receive the E. Lanier Finch Scholarship from the Georgia Association of Broadcasters. In both his junior and senior years at Macon State, he was chosen as the recipient of the Outstanding Academic Excellence in CIT Award out of all of the students in his major. Brandon also received the First Place Outstanding University Division Video Production Award at the 2008 Southern Regional Press Institute at Savannah State University for his video on new media.
